How to Sort a List
Navigate to the list view you want to organize.
Locate the column header you wish to sort by (such as Name, Created At, or Status).
Click the column header or the Sort button at the top of the table:
First Click (Ascending ▲): Sorts text alphabetically (A → Z), numbers from lowest to highest, or dates from oldest to newest.
Second Click (Descending ▼): Reverses the order (Z → A), numbers highest to lowest, or dates newest to oldest.
Note: An arrow icon beside the column header indicates the active sort direction. If a column header cannot be clicked, sorting is not supported for that specific data field.
Common Use Cases & Examples
Sorting Contacts Alphabetically: Go to Contacts, locate the Name column header, and click it once to sort your contact list from A to Z.
Managing Invoices: Sort your Invoices list by Status or Due Date to identify unpaid balances.
Prioritizing Bookings: Sort Documents or Bookings by Start Date to review upcoming events first.
Saving Your Custom Sort Order
If you frequently use a specific sort order, save it as a custom view so you don't have to re-apply it every time:
Click Save View → Save as New.
Name your view and select whether to make it Private or Shared with your team.
(Optional) Click and drag the handle next to the view name to pin it to the top of your saved views list.
