Group Sales Productivity

Updated this week

The Group Sales Productivity report shows a summary of tentative and definite guestrooms for each salesperson.

When running this report, parameters can be set such as:

  • Arrival date

  • Account type,

  • Pipeline stage

  • Group Creation Date- Default booking statuses (e.g., "Definite" or "Tentative")

  • Date ranges matched to booking status transition dates

The report provides a total revenue summary, Grouped by User, and Group Status.

It is important to note that the report uses default filters based on booking status and transition dates, meaning the data displayed is contingent upon these predefined criteria.

The Group Sales Productivity is best used to measure the productivity of individual sales representatives.

By focusing on individual sales representatives, the report ensures that the performance analysis is detailed and tailored, facilitating targeted growth strategies.

Important Considerations

The sales person is based on the Assignee of the Booking

The report is the best use to evaluate an individual sales person's productivity instead of the entire sales team. Use the Group Pace report to view the overall team productivity related to meeting revenue goals. When data does not display as expected, it is often related to default filters or mismatched report criteria. For example, bookings filtered by arrival dates may not show if the default setting filters by status transitions only.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues with Data Display

  • No Data Matching the Date Range: Ensure that there are entries in the system that align with the selected date range. For instance, the report might appear blank if no bookings match the filters for "May 1 - Today."

  • Default Filters on Booking Status: By default, the report includes bookings based on status transitions (e.g., "Definite" or "Tentative") rather than arrival dates, which may lead to no matching data.

Adjusting Filters to Display Specific Data

  1. Review and Adjust Filter Settings: Align filters with your requirements, such as opting for bookings filtered by arrival dates.

  2. Include Future Bookings: Remove filters that exclude groups not yet transitioned to "Definite" or "Tentative" to capture upcoming bookings.

FAQs: Understanding Default Settings

  • Does the report show only actualized data during the range?: No, it defaults to bookings transitioning to "Definite" or "Tentative" statuses within the range, not necessarily completed bookings. You can customize these settings.

  • Why is specific user data missing?: Filters might exclude data that doesn't match the transition timeline. Adjusting filters can include more relevant user data.
