Updated over a week ago

Overview

The Email Template Performance Report in Event Temple helps you evaluate how well your email templates are performing. It provides key engagement metrics — such as open and reply rates — so you can understand what communication styles are most effective with your clients and guests.

This report is perfect for monitoring your team’s outreach, follow-ups, and automated communications to ensure they’re engaging and effective.

How to Access the Report

  1. Log in to your Event Temple account.

  2. From the left-hand sidebar, click Reports.

  3. In the list of available reports, scroll down to Email Template Performance under the Emails section.

  4. Click View to open the report.

(Refer to the screenshot below for navigation guidance.)

Report Filters

At the top of the page, you can apply filters to refine the data:

  • Creation Date: Choose a date range to analyze email templates created or sent within that timeframe.
(Example from the screenshot: between Nov 9, 2025, and Nov 15, 2025.)

Use the + Add Filter option to include additional criteria if available, helping narrow your insights to a specific time period or campaign.

Columns Explained

Each column in the table displays valuable metrics for every email template:

Column

Description

Template

The name of the email template (e.g., Proposal, Contract Follow-up, Wedding Proposal).

Total Sent

The number of times this email template was sent.

Total Opens

How many times recipients opened emails using this template.

Open Rate

The percentage of opens compared to the total sent.

Total Replies

The number of responses received for that email template.

Reply Rate

The percentage of replies compared to the total sent.

In the example shown in the screenshot, no emails were sent within the selected date range, so all metrics display 0.

Exporting the Report

You can export the data for further analysis or sharing:

  1. Click the Export button in the top-right corner.

  2. Choose your preferred export format (e.g., CSV, Excel).

  3. The file will download and can be used for tracking or presentations.

Tips for Best Results

  • Review open and reply rates regularly to identify your most engaging templates.

  • Experiment with different subject lines and wording to improve engagement.

  • Use consistent date filters to compare performance across time periods.

  • If data appears blank, expand your date range to include more activity.
