Event Temple offers robust email features to help users efficiently share Document Proposals and customize how proposal links appear within email templates. Below is a step-by-step guide to perform these tasks effectively.
Note: This article applies to Document Proposals, which are part of Event Temple’s Documents feature. Proposals use a separate sharing and template system and are not covered here.
Sharing Document Proposals via Email
Once you’ve created a Document Proposal, you can share it directly from Event Temple using the built-in email composer.
Steps:
Navigate to the Document Proposal within Event Temple.
Open the dropdown menu associated with the document.
Select Share.
This opens Event Temple’s email composer.
Compose your email and click Send.
This process ensures your Document Proposal is shared quickly and consistently, without needing to download or attach files.
Customizing Proposal Links in Email Templates
You can also insert a Document Proposal link into an Event Temple email template for a more polished and reusable email experience.
Steps:
Open the Email Template Editor in Event Temple.
Use the Document dropdown in the editor to insert a proposal link placeholder.
Choose how the link is displayed:
URL – displays the full proposal link
HTML URL – displays clickable text instead of the full link
For a cleaner, more professional appearance, we recommend using the HTML URL option to create a hyperlinked call-to-action such as “View Your Proposal”.
Important Notes
These steps apply to Document Proposals only.
Smart Proposals have their own sharing workflow and link behaviour.
Proposal links automatically update to point to the correct document when the email is sent from a booking.
