The Room Blocks page in Event Temple provides a centralized view of all group room blocks associated with your property’s bookings.

Navigation and Controls

  • Search Bar – Allows you to quickly locate specific room blocks by name, code, or other identifiers.

  • Filters and Sorting – You can add filters, sort results by multiple columns, and save or export views for reporting.

  • Customize Columns – Use the “Customize Columns” panel to select which data fields appear in your table. Options include room details, revenue metrics, notes, and operational information.

Displayed Information

Each room block entry is listed in a table format with the following key columns:

Column

Description

Name

Displays the name of the room block or associated booking. Clicking the name opens the detailed booking page.

Code

Shows the room block or booking reference code (e.g., BK-00010).

Arrival Date

The start date of the group’s stay.

Departure Date

The end date of the group’s stay.

Status

Indicates the booking stage, such as Lead, Tentative, Definite, Actual, or Lost.

Blocked

Shows the total number of rooms currently blocked for the group.

Pickup

Displays the number of rooms that have been picked up (reserved or used) out of the total blocked.

Blocked Revenue

Represents the total potential revenue from the blocked rooms.

Pickup Revenue

Shows the actual revenue generated from the rooms that have been picked up.

Each booking entry links to its detailed page where you can view or edit the room block information, update rates, manage pickup numbers, and adjust group details such as arrival or departure dates.

Typical Uses

The Room Blocks page is primarily used by sales, reservations, and events teams to:

  • Monitor the performance of group bookings.

  • Update blocked and pickup room counts.

  • Review revenue associated with each group.

  • Access and manage individual room block details for confirmed or tentative bookings.
