Process Overview:
Receive inquiry: A potential client sends an inquiry to your regular email inbox.
Forward email: You forward that inquiry to your organization’s unique forwarding address.
Booking created: Event Temple automatically generates a new booking record from the forwarded email’s details.
Important Considerations: While Event Temple automatically generates bookings, it also attempts to match forwarded emails to existing bookings based on the sender’s email address. If no match is found, a new booking and contact are created, which may result in duplicate records if not used carefully. This behavior cannot be disabled.
Forwarding Email Address: The organization’s designated forwarding address is: bookings-08d2325957d2777ce851a7dd76a583a4@mail.eventtemplemail.com This is the address to which inquiry emails should be forwarded for automatic processing.
User Interface Elements:
A “Copy” button is available next to the forwarding email address for quick copying.
Navigation links to other Settings sections (e.g., Email Templates, Integrations, Custom Fields) appear on the left sidebar.
