Use Zapier To Add a New Booking to Event Temple

Learn how to automatically create new Event Temple bookings from external inquiries using Zapier and an email parser. Connect forms or emails to Event Temple by mapping parsed data into booking fields.

Updated over a week ago

You can automatically create new bookings in Event Temple using Zapier by combining an email parser with a Zap.

This is useful when inquiries come from:

  • Third-party forms

  • Website submissions

  • Email-based inquiry systems

How it works

The automation follows this flow:

Email → Email Parser → Zapier → Event Temple Booking

Step 1: Set up an Email Parser

You can use tools like:

These tools extract structured data from incoming emails.

You can define fields such as:

  • Guest name

  • Event date

  • Number of guests

  • Special requests

  • Email address

⚠️ Important: Make sure your parser tool is supported in Zapier.

Step 2: Create your Zap

In Zapier:

Trigger:

A new parsed email is received from your email parser.

Action:

Create a new booking in Event Temple.

Map parsed fields to Event Temple fields, such as:

  • Contact name → Contact field

  • Event date → Booking start date

  • Guest count → Custom or booking field

  • Email → Contact email

You can also:

  • Assign a booking owner

  • Select pipeline and stage

  • Set default booking values

Step 3: Set up email forwarding

Forward incoming inquiry emails from your email provider (e.g. Gmail or Outlook) to your parser mailbox.

Once set up:
Email → Parser → Zapier → Event Temple booking is created automatically.

Important notes

  • Email parser tools are third-party services

  • Setup steps vary depending on your email provider

  • Zapier access requires an admin role in Event Temple

  • For account-level enrichment, you may need additional Zap steps (e.g. “Find Account”)
