Zapier lets you automatically send emails based on activity in Event Temple. This is useful for notifying guests, internal teams, or both when something changes in a booking.
A Zap consists of:
A trigger (what starts the automation)
An action (what happens next)
Important note: If you only need simple guest email automation, Event Temple Workflows may be a better option since they run natively inside the system.
Step 1: Choose your trigger
Common Event Temple triggers include:
A new booking is created
A booking is moved to a specific stage
A booking is updated
Example: Trigger a Zap when a booking moves into the “New Lead” stage.
Step 2: Set up your email action
Choose an email provider such as:
Gmail
Outlook
Microsoft Exchange
Then configure your action to send an email.
You can send emails to:
The primary contact on the booking
Internal team members
Both guests and internal recipients
You can also:
Add CC or BCC recipients (e.g. front desk team)
Attach files (menus, proposals, floorplans)
Organize emails using labels or folders (depending on provider)

Step 3: Customize your email
Use Event Temple fields to personalize your message:
Common fields include:
Contact name
Booking name
Event dates
Booking stage
Revenue or package details
These can be inserted into:
Subject line
Email body
