It's possible to use an Email Parser and Zapier to forward new inquiries such as a third-party inquiry form, along with any other information (eg date, guest numbers, special requests).
There are 3 steps involved:
Create an Email Parser that connects to Zapier
Create a Zap in Zapier to connect Zapier to Event Temple
Set up email forwarding in your email provider
We recommend reading Getting Started With Zapier to first gather an understanding of
Step One: Create an Email parser mailbox
One example of this tool is Mailparser and an alternative is Email Parser by Zapier.
An email parser allows you to select & name relevant fields in the different areas of the email (eg number of guests, date, email address etc).
Note: Ensure that the email parser you choose can be used in Zapier.
Step Two: Using Zapier, Create a Zap Between the email parser & Event Temple.
Choose what to do when a new email comes into your parser mailbox (eg create a new Booking in Event Temple)
Assign the email parser fields you have created to the relevant Event Temple Fields
You can also choose which user to assign the Booking to as well as the Pipeline & other Booking information
Step Three: Set up email forwarding from your direct email account (e.g. Gmail / Outlook) to send relevant emails to your email parser mailbox
The steps will depend on your email provider. You should reach out to your email provider support if you're unsure how to set up email forwarding.
Once this is done, emails will forward from your email -> your email parser mailbox -> Zapier -> and enter Event Temple as a new Booking.
Additional Information:
Any Email Parsers, as well as Zapier are separate companies and software from Event Temple. Any questions regarding Zapier functions are better directed to Zap's support. Follow this link to find all the information regarding Zapier Integrations for Event Temple.
