A “Message Not Delivered” notice occurs when a recipient’s email server rejects an email you sent. The error message comes from the recipient’s server, not Event Temple.
Common Error Messages and Fixes
The email account does not exist
Cause: The recipient’s address is invalid, no longer exists, or contains a typo.
Fix:
Check for extra spaces, quotation marks, or trailing dots.
Verify spelling.
Search your Contacts for an alternative address.
If the email is for work/school, contact the administrator.
‘Message flagged as spam’ or ‘Message temporarily rejected’
Cause: Your email appears suspicious, or you included too many recipients in Cc/Bcc.
Fix:
Remove links requesting personal info.
Ask the recipient to whitelist your email address.
‘Recipient server did not accept our requests’
Cause: Gmail or your email service cannot connect to the recipient’s server.
Fix:
Retry sending the email later.
Verify the recipient’s email address.
Contact the recipient’s email provider support if the issue persists.
For work/school emails, contact your administrator.
