You can easily create a custom report in Event Temple to track all overdue invoices — helping your finance and sales teams stay on top of outstanding payments. By filtering, customizing columns, and saving your view, you’ll always have quick access to the data you need.
Step 1: Navigate to the Invoices Module
From the main navigation menu, click Invoices.
You’ll see a table displaying all invoices for your organization.
Step 2: Add Filters
To isolate overdue invoices:
Click Add Filter at the top of the page.
Apply the following filters:
Overdue:
TrueInvoice Stage:
SentorFinalized(Optional) Booking Status:
Definite(to exclude cancelled or tentative bookings)
The list will now show only invoices that are overdue and not yet fully paid.
Step 3: Customize Columns
Click the Columns button in the top-right corner.
Under Selected Columns, ensure the following fields are visible:
Invoice Number
Invoice Stage
Payment Status
Billed To
Amount Due
Due Date
Issue Date
Booking Name (optional but helpful for context)
To reorder columns:
Hover over the column name.
Click and hold the six-dot icon (⋮⋮) beside it.
Drag the column up or down to adjust its order.
Click Apply to update your table.
Step 4: Sort by Due Date
Click on the Sort column header to sort invoices in ascending or descending order.
This helps identify which invoices are the most overdue at a glance.
Step 5: Save the Report as a Custom View
Click the Save View button at the top of the page.
Choose Save as New.
Enter a clear name such as:
“Overdue Invoices Report”(Optional) Add a description — for example:
“Displays all overdue invoices with their remaining balance and due dates.”Choose whether the view should be:
Private: Visible only to you.
Shared: Available to others in your organization or chain.
Click Save.
Step 6: Pin the Report (Optional)
To access it quickly in the future, click the Pin icon beside the saved view name.
Pinned views always appear at the top of your list.
Step 7: Export the Data (Optional)
If you need a spreadsheet copy:
Click the Export button.
Choose your preferred format (e.g., CSV).
Your file will include all visible columns and filters currently applied.
Example Use Case
Finance Teams: Review overdue balances weekly to follow up on outstanding invoices.
Sales Managers: Track overdue invoices tied to their accounts to ensure payment before new bookings.
General Managers: Use this report for forecasting cash flow and identifying collection trends.

Combine this report with filters like “Invoice Stage = Finalized” and “Amount Due > 0” to track only fully issued invoices that haven’t been settled.
