Troubleshooting Password and Notification Email Issues

Troubleshoot Event Temple password and notification email issues. Learn how to whitelist notifications@eventtemple.com, check spam, fix expired reset links, and ensure your account is active.

Having trouble getting Event Temple emails or using your password reset link? This guide walks you through common causes and fixes.

1. Check Your Inbox and Spam Folder

  • Automated emails (password resets, notifications, welcome emails) may be blocked or sent to Spam/Junk folders.

  • For Gmail users, if an email is flagged as potentially dangerous, verify it’s from notifications@eventtemple.com and click “Looks safe.” Refresh the page if links don’t appear correctly.

2. Whitelist Event Temple Emails

Add notifications@eventtemple.com to your email safe sender list or whitelist. This helps ensure:

  • You receive future notifications

  • Password reset emails aren’t blocked or delayed

After whitelisting, try performing a password reset again.

3. Ensure Your Reset Link Works

Password reset links contain a one-time-use token that expires:

  • When you request a new password reset

  • After successfully using the token

  • 6 hours after the token is created

If your link is expired, request a new password reset.

4. Verify Your Account Is Active

No password reset email will be sent to deactivated users. If you suspect your account might be inactive:

  • Ask an Admin to verify your account status.

  • Only active accounts can receive password reset emails.

5. Double-Check Your Email Address

Typos can prevent delivery. Make sure the email you enter on the login page matches the one linked to your Event Temple account.

6. Contact Support if Needed

If you’ve tried the steps above and still don’t receive emails or your reset link isn’t working, contact Event Temple Support at support@eventtemple.com or click the chat bubble in the right-hand corner for assistance.

💡 Tips:

  • Always check Spam/Junk after requesting a password reset.

  • Gmail and other providers may hide links or flag messages as dangerous — verify the sender before clicking.

  • Performing a reset after whitelisting usually resolves most delivery issues.
