In some cases, guests using email domains such as .org, .edu, or other organization-managed addresses may have difficulty accessing the Event Temple Guest Portal. This is usually due to domain-level or network security settings that restrict access to external sites or links sent via automated emails.
What’s Happening
Some organizations—especially universities, nonprofits, and large companies—maintain strict security filters that can block or quarantine messages or links that originate outside their network. This can prevent guests from opening or interacting with Event Temple’s Guest Portal link.
How to Resolve
If a guest reports that they can’t access the Guest Portal after several attempts:
Ask them to contact their IT or network administrator.
Request that they whitelist Event Temple’s domain and allow external access to the Guest Portal URL.
Once whitelisted, they should be able to open the portal and view their event information normally.
Tip: If the guest prefers not to involve IT or is on a tight timeline, you can also provide the event details directly via email as a backup.
This issue doesn’t mean the portal is down—just that certain “extra-secure” domains are being a little too protective! Whitelisting Event Temple will quickly resolve the issue and restore access.
