You can add a salutation in Event Temple to personalize your documents. This can be used in merge fields for emails, proposals, and other client communications.
Using the “Dear” Field on a Contact
Open the Contact you want to edit.
Locate the Dear field (a text box) which a custom field
Enter the salutation exactly as you wish it to appear (e.g., Mr. Smith, Dear Jane).
Save the Contact.
This field can then be used as a merge field in your documents.
Using a Static Picklist
If you want consistent options across contacts, you can create a Booking Custom Field with a picklist:
Go to Booking Custom Fields in your account settings.
Add a new picklist field for salutations.
Enter the static options you want available.
Assign the field to Bookings or Contacts as needed.
