I have a Custom Field in my Document that I can't find in my Settings.
Procedure:
Deleting a Custom Field removes it from the Event Temple entirely. This is a permanent action that cannot be undone.
To Delete a Custom Field
Go to Settings -> Fields -> Custom Fields
Locate the Custom Field
Click the Delete Icon
Click Delete in the pop up to confirm deletion
Additional Information
To protect your data, we don't allow used Custom Fields to be deleted if they have data contained in them. This means if they are filled in on a Booking (archived or not) then the Custom Field contains data. If you attempt to delete a Custom Field that has been used you'll receive the below error:
If the Custom Field has been used, you can choose to archive it instead. Archiving Custom Fields will remain visible in old records where it was used and hidden in cases where it was not in use.
When a Custom Field is deleted or archived in your Settings, it does not automatically remove it from Documents or Email Templets where you have included it as a merge field. You will need to go into those Documents and Email Templates and remove them.
