How do I tell if a booking came from the Booking Engine vs being created manually?
Open the booking record and scroll to the Additional Info section on the left side. If it shows Origin: Booking Engine, the booking was submitted online through your portal. Manually created bookings will show a different origin or no origin at all.
What stage does a Booking Engine submission start in?
This is determined by the Pipeline Stage setting in Settings → Booking Engine → Submission Settings. By default it is typically set to Inquiry, but your team can configure it to any pipeline and stage that fits your workflow.
Who gets assigned to the booking?
The team member specified in Settings → Booking Engine → Submission Settings → Assignee is automatically assigned. If no assignee is configured, the booking will be unassigned until a team member claims it.
Where do I see the guest's special requests?
Open the booking record and click the Notes tab. Special requests submitted on the booking form are stored here for your team to review.
Can I edit the booking after it comes in?
Yes. All fields in the booking record are editable. You can update the title, dates, contacts, pipeline stage, status, and all other details just as you would with any manually created booking in Event Temple.
What if a Booking Engine submission conflicts with an existing booking?
If space conflict prevention is enabled in your Space Settings, conflicting Instant Book requests will be automatically blocked. If conflict prevention is disabled, it is possible for two bookings to be created for the same space and time — your team should review and resolve conflicts manually.
Can you have multiple booking engines — one for meeting rooms and one for activities?
Currently the Booking Engine is only available for Event Spaces.
