The Booking Engine is an online reservation tool that allows clients to check availability and submit booking requests directly through a venue’s website.
It connects in real time with Event Temple’s system, ensuring that availability, pricing, and inventory are kept up to date. This helps venues reduce manual work and avoid double bookings.
Through the booking engine, customers can:
View available dates and spaces
Select rooms, packages, or event options
Submit booking requests or enquiries directly to the venue
Receive a streamlined, branded booking experience without needing back-and-forth communication
This centralizes incoming requests and keeps all booking data automatically synced within Event Temple, improving efficiency and visibility across the sales process.
How to Access
Clients will begin by navigating to your booking portal, where they can enter their email address and request a magic link. A secure sign-in link will then be sent directly to their inbox, allowing them to access the portal without needing a password.
Once signed in, clients can browse your available properties and select the location they’d like to book. They’ll then enter their preferred date, start and end times, number of attendees, and choose a meeting room.
Instant Book vs. Request to Book
If the space has Instant Book enabled, the booking is confirmed immediately. No approval is needed.
If the space uses Request to Book, the inquiry is sent to the venue team for review. This will request follow up to confirm availability and next steps.
Clients can also click Request To Book at any time during the process if they would prefer to submit a manual inquiry rather than use Instant Book.
What Happens Next
After clicking Confirm Booking, clients will see a confirmation screen showing:
A thank-you message from the venue
A unique Booking Reference Number (e.g., BK-00205)
Any next steps message the venue has set up (such as what to expect, who will be in touch, or what to bring on the day)
