Overview
When sending a booking from Event Temple to Opera, a Group Code may be automatically generated depending on your configuration.
Supported Group Code Formats
Event Temple only supports the following Opera group code formats:
YYMMAAAAAAAAAAAAYYMM
If Opera is configured with one of the above formats, Event Temple will generate the group code automatically.
How to Fix the Issue
If group codes are not being generated:
Step 1: Check Opera Settings
In Opera:
Confirm a Group Code Format is defined.
Ensure it is set to one of the supported formats:
YYMMAAAAAAAAAAAAYYMM
Step 2: Resync the PMS Provider in Event Temple
After updating Opera - please connect with your Customer Success Manager. They will:
Go to your PMS integration settings in Event Temple.
Resync the PMS provider.
Test by pushing a new booking to Opera.
