The Menu in Event Temple is located on the left-hand side. It is broken up into Main & Other. Main are the day-to-day operational areas within Event Temple. Other relates to settings, support & additional features. This article explains each of the options available.
Click on the cog icon to customize the Main Menu visibility.
Click on the Menu icon to hide the names of the Menu names. Click it a second time to re-expand it.
Main Section
Dashboard
The Dashboard is a quick way to see a list of all New Bookings, Upcoming Bookings, as well as Tasks assigned to yourself
Calendars
The calendar displays various calendaring options depending on your needs. They are listed below:
Calendar - displays all Groups, Events, and Bookings in one place, in a calendar format.
Event Diary - displays each Space & its availability
GRC (Group Rooms Control) - this Calendar is only visible to Organizations that use Groups. The GRC displays the names of all the groups along with the number of rooms the Group has per night as well as revenue
Task Calendar - displays Tasks on a Calendar in either a day, week, or month format.
Bookings
A Booking is a foundation that contains the Events that your guests will be having with your property. A Booking may contain a single Event or multiple Events. The top-right side of the Booking page allows you to toggle between the following:
Booking List - a customizable list of each Booking.
Booking Pipeline - The pipeline in Event Temple is a visual overview of the Booking process from start to finish.
Events
Events are the individual components of a Booking. The Events tab is a customizable list of all the Events.
Groups
Groups are used to track Room Blocks that are part of a Booking. This is a customizable list of all Groups (only visible to Organizations that use Groups).
Contacts
Contacts are the individual Guest/s. This is a customizable list of all Contacts.
Accounts
Accounts are corporate entities that Contacts can belong to. This is a customizable list of all Accounts.
Tasks
A Task is any sales activity or “to-do” that you have with a customer. Hospitality community members may refer to these as "traces".
The Mail tab is the center of your Event Temple Emails and lists all Emails sent & received.
Documents
Whenever you create a Proposal, Group Resume, or BEO in Event Temple, you are using Documents. This is a customizable list of all Documents that have been created on a Booking.
Invoices
Invoices allow you to send itemized bills to your customers directly from Event Temple. You can set up a payment schedule (by percentage or amounts) and even take payments (using Stripe).
Reports
The Reports tab is a list of pre-built reports, as well as any customized Reports an Organization user has saved.
Other Section
Settings
Settings are where you can customize everything to do with your User Profile & Organization including Menus, Spaces, Email provider, Event Temple Subscription, and more.
