The Event Diary helps users manage event logistics by displaying confirmed and tentative bookings in an easy-to-read calendar format. It serves as a visual planning tool for sales, catering, and operations teams to coordinate and monitor daily and upcoming activities.
Key Features
Comprehensive Event View – Displays events by date, time, and space, allowing you to see which areas are booked or available.
Multiple Calendar Modes – View events by Day, Week, Month, or 40 Days for flexible scheduling perspectives.
Filter and Status Options – Filter events by status (Lead, Tentative, Definite) or other custom filters to quickly locate specific bookings.
Add Events Directly – Create new events instantly using the Add Event button.
Manage Space Closures – Use the New Space Closure option to block off areas for maintenance or non-bookable periods.
Show Excluded Spaces – Toggle this setting to include or hide spaces that are excluded from the active event view.
Interactive Display – Hover over or select event entries to review details such as event name, time, and assigned space.
To Access the Event Diary
Select Calendars in the left-hand sidebar
Select Event Diary
Select the Status
Definite
Tentative
Lead
Lost
A combination of those
Apply various Filters, change dates or use the toggle 'show excluded spaces'
New Entry
Clicking on a date for a particular Space will allow you to:
Add an New Event
Add to a new booking
Add to an existing booking
Add a New Space Closure

Clicking on an Event will give you access to:

choose to edit the event directly from here by clicking on the pencil icon
choose various actions form here (such as archive, clone, merge, move or delete)
Booking access link
Booking's contact access link
Booking's account access link
Room Block information for the booking
Event information for the booking
Events without a designated Space will appear in 'Unspecified' at the top of the Event Diary Calendar.
