What Are the Colors On My Calendars?

Change the Colors of my Calendar - Update Space Colors - Color Code Events

Updated this week

Understand and Customize Colors in the Calendars

Bookings, Events on the Bookings Calendar are displayed based on

  • the color of the Space that is assigned to the first Event sorted Start Date & Time

  • Status of the Booking / Event (Lead, Tentative, Definite, Lost)

Note: this may be unpredictable if there are multiple Events with the same Start day & time using different Spaces/colors.

If you have two or more Events with the same start and end times but in different Spaces, the color displayed on the Booking Calendar will correspond to the Space associated with the latest event added to the booking.

If there is no Event associated to the Booking, it will appear light blue. If the 'first' Event has no space associated, it will also appear light blue.

Bookings, Events that have a Tentative Booking Status will have a yellow tab & Definite Booking Status have a green tab and those that have a Lead Status or all blue.

The color surrounding your Booking / Event / Room Block will be the indication of the Status.

Events on the calendar will appear as their associated Space Color. To customize the event color for a particular space, navigate to the settings, update the color for the associated Space, and save the changes. You need Admin user role for this. See the detailed steps on how to update the colors of your Spaces.

Event Diary Colors

On the Event Diary, the colors are also reflective of the colors assigned to the Spaces being used for the Events and the Event Statuses.

Task Calendar Colors

Tasks will be displayed based

  • Due date is in the past / is today or in the future

  • Task is completed

Green - Completed

Blue - Task due date is in the future and incomplete

Yellow - Task due today

Red - Task overdue

Summary

The Event Temple calendar’s color-coded system aids in visually managing Bookings and Events. While colors depend on the 'Space' associated with events, users can change Space settings to customize their calendar view for better organizational oversight.
