How Can I Set Rooms Out of Service?

Learn how to set Event Temple rooms or spaces out of service using Space Closures via Settings or the Event Diary, including reasons, dates, times, and optional notes.

Setting Rooms Out of Service (Space Closures)

You can close one or more Event Spaces for maintenance, events, or other reasons using Settings or the Event Diary.


Option 1: From Settings

  1. Click Settings.

  2. Select Offerings β†’ Spaces.

  3. Click + New Closure(s).

  4. Select the Space(s) you want to close.

  5. Enter the time and/or date for the closure.

  6. Select a Space Closure Reason.

  7. Add any notes (optional).

  8. Click Create.

Option 2: From the Event Diary

  1. Click Calendars β†’ Event Diary.

  2. Click the Space on the date you want to close.

  3. Select the Space(s) to close.

  4. Enter the time and/or date.

  5. Choose a Space Closure Reason.

  6. Add any notes (optional).

  7. Click Create.

If your organization uses Guest Rooms and is integrated with a Property Management System (PMS), all Guest Room closures, out of order rooms should be managed directly through your PMS.
