Updated yesterday

Event Temple lets you upload and manage files — including images, PDFs, and Microsoft Office documents — to attach to emails, proposals, and templates. While it doesn’t have a traditional photo gallery, all files are stored in your account for easy access by your team.

Uploading a File

  1. From your dashboard, click Settings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Templates & Files → Files.

  3. In the Upload A File section, click Choose File.

  4. Select a file from your computer (images, PDFs, or documents).

  5. Click Open — your file will automatically upload and appear in the Uploaded Files list.

Supported File Types

  • Images: .jpg, .png, .gif

  • Documents: .pdf

  • Microsoft Office: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx

Uploaded files are accessible to all users in your organization.

Using Files in Emails and Documents

You can attach uploaded files directly to emails, proposals, or templates:

  1. Create or compose your email or document.

  2. Click the File Links button.

  3. Select the file from the pop-up list and click Insert Link.

  4. (Optional) Click the link to Edit Link and rename it.

  5. Send your email or save your document.

To attach multiple files, click File Links again and repeat.

Organizing and Finding Files

  • Search: Use the search bar to find files by name or extension.

  • Star files : Mark important files as favourites for quicker access.

  • Sorting: Files cannot currently be manually reordered.

Deleting Files

  1. Go to Settings → Files.

  2. Find the file in the Uploaded Files list.

  3. Click the red trash can icon and confirm deletion.

Important Notes

  • Deleting a file permanently removes it from Event Temple.

  • Deleted files cannot be recovered.

  • If the file was attached to an email, proposal, or document, it will no longer appear there.

Tip: Review active templates or communications before deleting files.
