Packages

Packages let you pre-build Events with linked Menu Items to quickly add consistent setups to your Bookings.

Updated this week

Packages allow you to pre-build a combination of Events and/or Menu Items that can then be applied to a Booking. This saves your team time by eliminating the need to manually add each event from scratch for every booking. It also ensures consistent structure, offerings, and pricing across all bookings using the Package.

When a Package is added to a Booking, the associated Events can be scheduled to start on any chosen day.

Once the Package is applied, you can modify the related Events and Menu Items as needed—these changes will not affect the original pre-configured Package.

Creating a New Package

  1. Select Settings tab from left-hand sidebar

  2. Select Offerings from the sub-menu

  3. Select Package from the sub-menu

  4. Select + New Package Button at the top of the page

  5. Enter the Name & Description

  6. Select Save to add Events & Menu Items

Additional Information: If you're not ready to add Events & Menu Items, click Save & Close

Adding an Event to a Package

  1. Select the + Add Event button.

  2. Enter the Event details, including start time, type, and space.

  3. Click Save. You can then add Menu Items specific to this Event. Note that Menu Items must be linked to an Event within the Package and cannot be added independently.

When there are multiple Events in the Package, they are sorted by Event Start Time.

Important: Only the Event Name and Start Time are mandatory fields. These, along with any other details, can be modified when the Package is added to a Booking.

Events can be assigned a specific Space during package creation. This Space, as well as other Event details, can be updated once the Package is added to a Booking.

Adding a Menu Item to an Event

  1. Select + Add Item Button

  2. Search & Select the Menu Item

  3. Choose Override Price to set a package-specific price

  4. Select the quantity behavior, Menu Items can be based on per person, or a flat amount.

  5. Select Save.

Repeat these steps as needed to add more Menu Items to the Event. Please note that there is a drag and drop option to sort the Menu Items in your desired order, this order will be respected when adding the package to a Booking.

Note: When adding Flat amount Menu Items, it's also possible to select a quantity. Eg: 1 x camera, 2 x LED lights

Menu Items must be associated with a specific Event in the Package. Independent Menu Items are no longer supported when building Packages.

Modify a Package

  1. Select Settings tab from left-hand sidebar

  2. Select Offerings from the sub-menu

  3. Select Package from the sub-menu

  4. Select the Edit Icon on the Package you want to modify

  5. Make the relevant updates

  6. Select Save & Close

Changes made to the Package will be for any future uses only. Previous Bookings this package was used on will not be affected.

Example: How to Set Up a Day Package or DDR

Below you can see an example of how a Day Package/DDR can be set up. This guide will help you structure your package clearly so your team and customers can easily understand what’s included and when each activity takes place.

1. Add a Package Description
Start by adding a clear package description. This will be useful when grouping items as part of a package on your documents while still showing the customer exactly what’s included.

2. Add Events for Each Activity
Create a separate Event for each specific activity in the day. This step is essential, as your function sheet is built based on these Events — it lets your team know when, where, and what the customer will be consuming during each Event.

3. Add Items to Each Event
Within each event, add the items the customer will consume.

Tip: For event times, set the minute to “01.” This helps your team quickly identify whether the event times in the package have been confirmed with the customer.

Modifying a Package Display in a Document

To display your items as a one line item on your document, make sure to do the following set up.

Within the Menu Items Element in the Document, navigate to "Display Options" and "Packages". Choose the following:

  • Show packages

  • Hide packaged item pricing

  • Hide package items

  • Hide package icon
