Why Isn't my Document Template visible in my other Organization?
Answer:
Yes. You can use your Multi-Organization Document Template Settings to show the Document Templates Chain-Wide, or move them over to a different Organization within your chain.
Go to Settings
From the left navigation menu, select Settings → Templates & Files → Document Templates.
Find the Template
Under Organization Templates, locate the document whose permissions you want to adjust.
Edit the Template
Click the Edit (pencil) icon beside the template name to open it.
Locate the Permission Field
Near the top of the Document Template editor, you’ll see a Permission section.
It usually appears below the Language field and above the document preview.
Choose the Permission Level
Click the dropdown or link next to “Permission” to change where the template is visible:
Organization → Visible to all users within the current organization.
Chain → Visible across all connected organizations (only available if you manage multiple properties).
Save Your Changes
After updating the permission, click Save in the upper right corner of the editor.
🔒 Permission Notes
Regular Users can only edit or delete templates they created (or cloned).
Organization Admins can manage all templates within their property.
Chain Admins can manage templates across the entire chain and adjust whether they are organization-level or chain-level.
