How Document Webhooks apply to you

Document webhooks exist for:

  • document signed

  • document shared

These are handy when using our API to connect directly to another program.

They can also be utilized in Zapier to connect to other third-party programs. When these events occur, the Trigger will start a Zap.

How to set up Document Webhooks in Zapier

  1. Create a new zap and pick "Webhooks by Zapier" as the trigger

2. Choose "Catch Hook" as the event

3. Enter "data" as the Child Key

4. Copy the webhook URL

5. Create a new webhook subscription in Event Temple & Paste the webhook URL as the Target URL.

Note: Once the webhook is saved, a Document will need to be submitted in order for the Zap to be tested.

Important Considerations

  • Webhooks By Zapier requires a Zapier premium account

  • Only users with an Admin user role can add webhook subscriptions to Event Temple
