Can I move Menu Items to another Event?

Step 1: Open the Booking

  1. Go to the Bookings tab from the main menu.

  2. Open the specific booking that contains the menu or line items you want to reassign.


Step 2: Go to the Line Items Tab

  1. Inside the booking, click the Line Items tab.

  2. You’ll see a list of all the menu and service items currently linked to various events in that booking.


Step 3: Select the Items to Move

  1. Check the boxes beside the line items (menu items) you want to assign to a different event.

  2. You can select multiple items at once.


Step 4: Use the “Batch Actions” Option

  1. Click Batch Actions (usually located near the top of the Line Items list).

  2. Choose Assign to Event from the dropdown.

Step 5: Choose the Target Event

  1. A popup will appear labeled Assign to an Event.

  2. Use the event dropdown to select the event you want the items moved to.

  3. Click Save.


Step 6: Verify the Changes

  1. The selected menu items will now show the new event name under the “Event” column.

  2. You can confirm by switching to that event’s view — the items should now be linked there.


Tip:

  • You can only assign items between events that belong to the same booking.

  • To assign across different bookings, you’d need to clone the items manually using “Add Multiple Items.”
