Conflict checking does not include Events from the same Booking.
We allow 'overbookings' in this situation to allow our users the flexibility to 'overlap' Events as needed. For example you might book the ballroom for the entire evening (this would be 1 Event), but the banquet event (also in the ballroom) only occurs for 1 hour of the total reserved time, you may then have pre or post set up for another component of time throughout the evening.
