Managing Pipelines & Stages in Event Temple

Learn how to edit, reorder, delete, and set default pipelines, and update Intake Forms to feed into the right pipeline stage.

Pipelines help you manage your booking flow by organizing stages (like Inquiry, Prospect, Definite). This article covers how to:

  • Edit Pipeline names and stages

  • Reorder Pipeline stages

  • Set a default Pipeline

  • Delete a stage and reassign bookings

  • Configure Intake Forms to feed into the correct Pipeline/Stage


How To Edit Pipelines & Pipeline Stages

  1. Go to Settings > Organization

  2. Select Pipelines

  3. Choose the Pipeline you want to edit

  4. Click on a Pipeline Stage to rename it

  5. Update the Pipeline Name if needed

  6. Click Save

Only Admin users can modify Pipelines and Pipeline Stages


How To Reorder Pipeline Stages

  1. Navigate to Settings > Organization > Pipelines

  2. Choose the Pipeline

  3. Drag and drop the stages into your desired order

  4. Changes save automatically


How To Delete a Pipeline Stage

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > Pipelines

  2. Select the Pipeline

  3. Click on the stage you want to delete

  4. Click Delete Stage

  5. Reassign any existing Bookings to a new Stage

  6. Confirm deletion

⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. If needed, you can recreate the stage and move bookings manually.


How To Set a Default Pipeline

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > Pipelines

  2. Choose your preferred Pipeline from the drop-down

  3. Click Make Pipeline Default

πŸ“Œ Pipelines appear in the order they were added; this cannot be rearranged.


How To Set a Pipeline & Stage for Intake Form Bookings

  1. Go to Settings > Tools > Intake Forms

  2. Hover over the form you'd like to edit, then click Edit

  3. Select the Submit Settings tab

  4. Choose the desired Pipeline and Stage

  5. Click Save

This ensures new Bookings land in the right spot in your workflow.
