Procedure

Email providers can occasionally block these emails as spam, since they are automated. Sometimes it goes directly into your spam/junk folder, however other times it's blocked altogether.

Add notifications@eventtemple.com to the safe sender list (white list) in your email settings. This is a list of all email addresses you would like to receive email from. Once you've done this, perform a password reset.

In addition to the above, Google may sometimes flag the email as potentially dangerous:

If the email is being flagged as potentially dangerous, first confirm that the email is actually from notifications@eventtemple.com, and then click "Looks safe" if it is. You may need to refresh the page in order for links to appear correctly once this is done.
