The Event Temple calendar’s colour-coded system aids in visually managing Bookings and Events. Colours depend on the 'Space' and 'Status' of events.
Understand Colours in the Calendars
Each calendar entry—representing a Booking, Event, or Room Block—displays two distinct colours:
The outline colour indicates the booking status (Lead, Tentative, Definite, or Lost).
The fill colour indicates the space associated with the Booking or Event (this is an organization-level setting).
If no space is associated with the Booking or Event, the fill color defaults to light blue.
The fill colour reflects the associated space color. To customize the colour for a particular space, admin users can navigate to Settings, update the colour for the associated space, and save the changes. See these detailed steps on how to update the colors of your spaces.
Status Outline Colour
Bookings or Events with a Lead status appear blue.
Bookings or Events with a Tentative status display a yellow outline.
Bookings or Events with a Definite status display a green outline.
Bookings or Events with a Lost status display a red outline.
Colour Inheritance for Multiple Events
If multiple events are associated with a single Booking, the main Booking entry will inherit the space colour of the most recently added event.
For example, in the image below, you can see a Booking that inherited its colour from the space associated with the Meeting Event on the 10th. Underneath it are three additional events where the space has not been set. On the 11th, in the Month view, you can see a Booking that inherited the color of the latest event added.
Displaying Lost Bookings or Events
By default, the 'Lost' status is turned off, but you can always adjust your calendar filters to show it. To learn more about using calendars, check out this article.
Task Calendar Colour
Task colour change dynamically based on their status and due dates:
Green: Task is completed.
Blue: Task is incomplete and due in the future (or today).
Red: Task is overdue (the due date is in the past).
