There are slightly different procedures for adding Menu Items to Existing Invoices, depending on the type of Invoice you are using. The difference between the two types of Invoice can be found here.
Invoice (previously known as Quote)
Add Individual Items to the Invoice from the Invoice
Open the Invoice you want to edit
Select the "Add Items" Button
Fill out the fields to select the Menu Item or Bundle you wish to add
Click Save
Add Multiple Items to the Invoice
Open the Invoice you want to edit
Select the "Add Multiple Items" Button
Select the Quantity and Unit Price for each Item (or keep as default)
Select Save
Additional Information:
Once you have created an Invoice, you can later convert it to a Connected Invoice. This will allow you to add Menu Items to that document in the instances listed below.
Connected Invoice (previously known as Invoice)
Adding un-invoiced Menu Items from your Booking/Event to an Invoice
Open the Invoice you want to edit
Ensure the Invoice is set to Connected Invoice (rather than Invoice). Update it under Actions if needed.
Scroll down to the Invoice and select the "Add Uninvoiced Items" Button
Select the Items you wish to Add from the pop-up. (Helpful Hint: You can use the top checkbox to add all items in the list🙃)
Select Save when done
Add Individual Items to the Invoice from Booking Summary Page
From the Booking Summary page, click on the Menu Items subtab
Click on the pencil icon to the left side of the Menu Item on the list
Scroll down Invoice
Select appropriate Invoice from the drop-down
Click Save
Add Multiple Items to the Invoice from Booking Summary Page
From the Booking Summary page, click on the Menu Items subtab
Select multiple checkboxes, or click the Select-All checkbox at the top of the list
Click the Batch Action dropdown at the top of the list
Click Assign to Invoice from drop-down
Click Apply
Add Individual Items to the Invoice
Open the Invoice you want to edit (or follow these steps to create an Invoice)
Scroll down to the Invoice and select the "Add Items" Button
Fill out the fields to select the Menu Item or Bundle you wish to add
Click Save
Add Multiple Items to the Invoice
Open the Invoice you want to edit (or follow these steps to create an Invoice)
Scroll down to the Invoice and select the "Add Multiple Items" Button
Select the Quantity and Unit Price for each Item (or keep as default)
Select Save

Adding an Invoice (previously known as quote) will keep the Menu Items separate from the Booking. This is a great option if you want to prepare your Invoices as quotes/proposals, or if you Invoice your items differently than you want them to appear on your Events.
