How to Make a Booking Contact the Primary Contact in Event Temple

Set the Primary Contact for a Booking in Event Temple to control which contact’s details appear on Invoices and Documents. The Primary Contact is managed at the Booking level and applies to all Events within that Booking.

The Primary Contact for a Booking determines which contact’s information is pulled into Invoices and Documents using Client merge fields.

Steps to Set a Primary Contact

  1. Open the Booking Summary.

  2. Scroll down to the Contacts section on the left-hand side.

  3. Hover over the contact you want to make primary.

  4. Click Set Primary next to their name.


Important Notes

  • The Primary Contact is set at the Booking level, not the Event level.

  • You cannot link different contacts to individual Events within a Booking.

  • Changing the Primary Contact in a Booking automatically updates which contact’s information appears in Documents and Invoices.
