Setting up the connection
In Event Temple, go to Settings → Integrations → PMS (admin access required).
Select Cloudbeds and click Connect. You'll be taken into Cloudbeds — be sure to select the correct property to link.
Back in Event Temple, click the edit icon to configure your mapping: group sync behavior, group status, and when you'd like blocks to sync. Select the Groups & Events module from the dropdown if that's what you use in Cloudbeds.
Go to Offerings → Rooms and add every room type using the exact code from Cloudbeds. Even a difference in spacing, capitalization, or characters will block the connection. A green checkmark confirms the room type is matched correctly.
Checking live availability
Once connected, open Calendars → GRC and select Room Type Availability (top right). Choose your date range to see all room types and live inventory pulled from Cloudbeds — helpful when you're on a call with a client. You can also check inventory directly from a booking's status page.
Building and syncing a block
The recommended workflow is to build your account, contact, and room block in Event Temple, then push to Cloudbeds based on status.
Create a new booking, adding your contact and account. Fill in as much detail as you have to keep records clean.
On the booking summary page, click New → Add Room Block. Choose your rate type (e.g. Custom), set release dates, net factor, room types, and rates. Use Check Room Availability to confirm inventory before holding rooms.
Save the block. It won't sync until you move the booking status.
Status behavior:
Tentative pushes the block into Cloudbeds but does not hold inventory (this is hard-coded on the Cloudbeds side).
Definite holds the inventory automatically in the PMS — no toggling between systems.
A green checkmark next to the account confirms it has synced. Use View in PMS to open the allotment block directly in Cloudbeds.
A few things to keep in mind
Pickups stay in Cloudbeds. They're grayed out in Event Temple. If a pickup isn't reflecting after the daily sync, click Fetch from PMS to pull it over manually.
Linking an existing block: If a block already exists in Cloudbeds, click the dropdown on New → Link Existing Block and enter the booking code (it starts with B). Select the match and click Link.
