See a history of changes to your Bookings, Contacts and Accounts

Please note that the Change Log is only available in Event Temple's New Look

The Change Log feature in Event Temple allows you to see a full, detailed history of all the changes made to your Bookings, Contacts and Accounts

The Change Log can be accessed from the Change Logs tab on the Booking, Contact and Account Summary pages:

Where to find it

Every Booking, Contact and Account has its own Change Log which can be accessed from the tabs on the Booking Summary, Contact Summary and Account Summary pages


Who can access it

The Change Log is accessible to all users. If you are able to access a Booking, Contact or Account then you are able to see its history of changes.


What is tracked

At a high level, every Change Log entry shows:

  • The user that made the change

  • When the change took place

  • The content of what they changed or created

    • Or a note of what they deleted

Bookings

In Event Temple there is a large amount of data that lives "within" a booking.

FAQs

How long are tracked changes stored for?

Changes are tracked indefinitely! They will be available for as long as your Event Temple account is active.

What timezone are change log timestamps shown in?

The timestamp on the Change Log is shown in the timezone configured for the Organization in Settings.

How do I export the change log?

At the moment, there is no way to export this data. Let us know if this is of interest to you!

I am not seeing the full history for my booking, what's going on?

We only began tracking changes for all Bookings, Contacts and Accounts in May 2025. From here on, everything will be tracked, but for everything earlier we do not have a history.
