Can I Recover A Deleted Invoice?

Deleted an invoice in Event Temple? Deleted invoices cannot be recovered, but you can re-create them. Learn how to delete, void, or archive invoices while preserving audit records and maintaining accurate booking data.

Once an invoice is deleted in Event Temple, it cannot be recovered. You will need to re-create it.

  • For Non-Connected Invoices: Booking items remain unaffected.

  • For Connected Invoices: Some items may be removed—check prior correspondence or submitted documents.

To Delete an Invoice:

  1. Open the invoice in Event Temple

  2. Go to the Actions menu → Delete Invoice

  3. Confirm the action

Tip:

  • If no payments have been recorded and you need to retain the invoice for audit purposes, void it instead. Voiding keeps the record visible while marking it as void, maintaining a complete audit trail.

  • Whenever possible, deactivate or archive items instead of deleting to prevent permanent loss.
