Only guests who are Contacts on the Booking can access their own portal. This is done without the need to remember passwords or go through lengthy sign-in processes. This ensures quick and secure access, enhancing guest convenience

The portal shows invoices & provides a streamlined payment system. Guests can view and pay invoices directly through the portal, making the financial aspect of their interaction straightforward and transparent. Automated reminders help ensure timely payments.

Access a Bookings' portal by clicking the link Located In the Booking Summary
✉️ Guests
Utilize a Booking merge field in email templates. These are named Guest Portal Url and Html Guest Portal Url in Email Templates.
Share the URL directly by copying it from the live page & pasting it in your preferred communication tool.
🔒 Privacy
Only Contacts of a Booking have to access to their own Bookings' portal
When guests are not authenticated, they will be prompted to enter their email address associated with the Booking.
If the email address belongs to the Booking’s Contact, an access link is sent to their inbox. The access link allows the guest to access the guest portal
The access link is valid for one hour
Once logged in, the session is valid for 30 days. Guests don’t have to log in again for 30 days
Event Temple users don’t have to go through the authentication process if you are already logged in to the platform in the same browser.
Invoices & Payments
Invoices & Payments
When an Invoice is sent to a guest, it is added to the Invoices section of the portal so that guests can click to view it
When a Payment is added manually to the Booking, it is added to the Past Payments section of the portal
Scheduled Payments
Add Scheduled Payments under the Booking that can be linked to the portal
Set the percentage, amount and due date and click Create
To mark a scheduled payment as Paid manually, click the grey check mark
If you have the Stripe integration, a customer can also pay a scheduled payment in the portal under Action Items by clicking the blue Pay button which will direct them to Stripe
Once a scheduled payment is made, it will be marked as Paid in the Booking and will display under Past Payments in the portal for the guest

When a Document is sent to a client to be finalized, it will be appear under Documents in the Action Items section of the portal along with the due date
A client can click the View button to view, fill out and submit the Document
Documents will also display in the Documents section of the portal and will show show their status
Important Considerations

In order to accept payments via the portal, your Organization must be connected to Stripe
Refresh the Booking in Event Temple to get up to date changes between the portal and booking
