How Can I Find Which Menu Items Don't Have Revenue Categories?

You can identify missing Revenue Categories using the Line Item List (Bookings) or Menu Items report filters.

Option 1 — From the Menu Items Page

  1. Go to Settings → Menu Items.

  2. Click Add Filter.

  3. Select Revenue Category from the filter options.

  4. Choose Revenue Category → Unspecified

This will display all Menu Items that don’t have a Revenue Category assigned.


Option 2 — From the Reports Page (Line Item List)

  1. Go to Reports → Line Item List (Bookings).

  2. Click + Add Filter.

  3. Select Revenue Category.

  4. Uncategorized

This is useful if you want to see which bookings include items without a Revenue Category.


Best Practice: Always assign a Revenue Category before using Menu Items in bookings — this ensures your Revenue and F&B Reports remain accurate.
