In EventTemple, Market Segments are not chosen at the booking level but are instead assigned and managed at the Account level. This ensures that all bookings and activities associated with a specific account automatically inherit the same market classification, maintaining consistency in reporting and segmentation.
Where to Find the Market Segment Field
To view or edit a Market Segment:
Navigate to the Accounts tab from the left-hand menu.
Open the specific Account record.
Under the Account Information section, locate the Market Segment field.
Click on the dropdown menu to select or change the appropriate segment (e.g., Corporate, Association, Government, Leisure, etc.).
The selected Market Segment will now be tied to that account and automatically apply to all related bookings.
Why Market Segments Are at the Account Level
By managing Market Segments through Accounts rather than individual bookings:
Reporting and analytics remain consistent across multiple bookings for the same client.
