How Can I Set a Default View?

You can save customized filters and column layouts as a View, then set one as your default so it opens automatically every time you visit that page.

Updated this week

Step 1: Create or Save Your View

  1. Go to the module you’d like to customize — for example, Bookings, Events, or Invoices.

  2. Apply your preferred filters and columns.

  3. Click Save View (💾) at the top-right.

  4. Choose Save as New and give your view a clear name (for example, Upcoming Tentatives & Definites).

  5. Choose whether to make it Private or Shared, then click Save.

Your new view will now appear in the Pinned Views list on the left-hand side.

Step 2: Make It the Default View

  1. Hover over the Pinned Views panel on the left.

  2. Find the view you’d like to make default.

  3. Click and hold the six-dot icon (⋮⋮) next to the view name.

  4. Drag and drop it to the very top of the list.

The view at the top of your pinned list becomes your default view automatically — no extra buttons or confirmations needed.

Step 3: Reorder or Remove Views

  • To change the default again, simply drag another pinned view to the top.

  • You can also open All Views to manage, rename, or delete saved views. (Depending on your role - you can not change Views that were created by an admin or chain admin).

Tip:
You can have separate default views for each module — for example, “Definite Bookings This Month” for Bookings and “Pending Payments” for Invoices.
