Using Documents to Collect Client & Guest Information

Create easy-to-use forms in Event Temple using Document Templates for clients and guests. Collect information with text fields, picklists, checklists, and signatures, with all responses saved directly in the document for easy access and organization.

You can easily create professional forms or questionnaires for your clients and guests to complete using Document Templates in Event Temple. A variety of Document Elements make it simple to collect the information you need in a clear, structured, and efficient way.

How to Add an Input Field:

  1. Open your Document or Document Template in the builder.

  2. Drag and drop the desired element (Input Text, Picklist, Checklist, Initial, or Signature) onto your document.

  3. Edit the element details to specify the information you need (e.g., "How many guests will attend?" or "Partner's phone number").

Important Notes:

  • All client-submitted information is saved within the document. It does not automatically populate other areas in Event Temple, such as Custom Fields. You may need to copy/paste information if needed elsewhere.

  • Using Picklists, Checklists, and Input Text fields allows flexibility depending on the type of information you want to collect.
