How Can I Update My Login Email?

Only you can update your own Event Temple login email. Admins cannot change it for you. Go to Profile > Edit > Update Email > Save.

To update your login email:

  1. Log in to Event Temple.

  2. Click your name in the upper right corner.

  3. Select Profile.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Enter your new email address.

  6. Click Save.

That’s it! Your login email will be updated immediately.


Handling Duplicate or Existing User Emails for Admins / Chain Admins

If an email address is already associated with a user in the system:

  1. Check if the email is connected to a deactivated account.

  2. Detach the email from the deactivated account.

  3. Reassign the email to the intended user.

Toggle to see the deactivated users in Settings->Organization->Users

Updating an Email Address Without Duplicates

The system may not allow simultaneous or temporary duplicates.

  1. Temporarily update the current email address to a placeholder (e.g., user.temp@example.com).

  2. Update the desired email address for the new user.

  3. Reassign the placeholder email back to the original user, if necessary.

Add Your New User Account

  1. Navigate to Settings

  2. Click on Users & Roles

  3. Select + New User

  4. Fill in the required information, including the new email address

  5. Set the appropriate permissions (user roles)

Deactivate the Old User Account

  1. Go to Settings > Users & Roles

  2. Locate the user account you wish to deactivate

  3. Click Deactivate

  4. Confirm the action by clicking Deactivate again

Reassign Bookings and Records

  • Single Booking:

    1. Open the booking.

    2. Click the assignee’s name (top right).

    3. Select the new user.

    4. Choose whether to reassign workflow tasks.

    5. Click Submit.

  • Multiple Bookings:

    1. Go to the Bookings List.

    2. Use the checkboxes to select bookings.

    3. Click Update from the Batch Action Menu.

    4. Select Assigned to and choose the new user.

    5. Click Save.
