To ensure pricing shows on your Documents for your Spaces, you need to ensure a few things have been set up correctly
1. Assign a Space Rental Revenue Category
An Admin User must check this setting is correct
The Default Room Rental Revenue Category determines which revenue category will automatically be assigned to room rental line items in your bookings. Setting this default ensures that all room rental charges are correctly categorized in financial reports and invoices.
Follow these steps to assign or change the default category:
1. Go to Revenue Categories
From the left-hand menu, navigate to Settings → Fields → Revenue Categories.
The page will display a list of all existing revenue categories in your organization, such as Food, Beverage, AV, Setup, Miscellaneous, and Room Rental.
2. Locate the Default Room Rental Setting
At the top of the page, you’ll see a section labeled:
Default Room Rental Revenue Category
This field determines which category will automatically apply to room rental line items.
3. Assign a Default Category
Click the dropdown or button next to Default Room Rental Revenue Category.
Choose the revenue category you want to set as the default (for example, Room Rental).
Once selected, the system will automatically save and apply this setting across all future bookings.
4. Verify the Default Category
After assigning, ensure:
The correct category name appears next to Default Room Rental Revenue Category.
When you create or update a booking with a room rental line item, that category appears in its Revenue Category field.
Notes
You can edit or rename existing revenue categories by clicking the Edit button beside each item in the list.
To add a new one, click New Revenue Category and fill in the required fields.
Archived categories can be shown or hidden by checking the Show Archived box.
Line Items are not associated with the correct Revenue Category
1. Go to the Menu Items Page
From the main menu, navigate to:
Settings → Offerings → MenusSelect the specific menu you want to edit (for example, Rental).
You’ll see a list of all menu items under that menu, along with their assigned Revenue Category, Price, and Taxes.
2. Open the Menu Item
Find the item you want to update — for example, Glacier Hall Rental, Avalanche Room Rental, or Summit Suite Rental.
Click on the item’s name or the Edit button (pencil icon) beside it.
This will open the menu item’s detail view.
3. Update the Revenue Category
Locate the Revenue Category dropdown field.
Click the dropdown and choose the appropriate category (e.g. Room Rental, Food, Beverage, AV, etc.).
The available categories are defined under Settings → Fields → Revenue Categories.
Once selected, the new category will automatically be applied to that item.
4. Save the Changes
After selecting the correct Revenue Category:
Click Save to apply the update.
The new Revenue Category will now appear in the Revenue Category column on the Menu Items page.
Notes
Changing a Revenue Category only affects future reports and new bookings that use this menu item.
To create or rename Revenue Categories, go to Settings → Fields → Revenue Categories.
Taxes assigned to a menu item remain separate and can be edited under the same menu item settings.
3. Show the Space Price field in your Document
If the above is all correct, the final reason could be that you do not have Space Price selected in the Events/Spaces element:
