Your Document must have multiple Events attached to it in order to accomplish this goal. Please Follow these steps to link multiple Events to your Document.
There are two ways to break your Menu Items up by Event:
The Menu Item element in Event Temple automatically pulls booking items and their associated costs from the linked booking into your document. This ensures that your proposal reflects accurate booking details without requiring manual updates.
Selecting Specific Events per Menu Item Block
This is great if you may want to add other elements between each Event - such as a text box with event-specific notes or custom fields.
Alternatively, if you prefer to enter costs manually, you can use a Text Box element instead of the Menu Item element.
Add a Menu Item Block to your Document
Click the pencil icon or Double click the element to edit it
Ensure your Menu Item Source is "Events"
Check the boxes of the Events you wish to display
Click Apply at the top-right side of the edit screen
Grouping your Menu Items by Event
This option is helpful if you'd like all of your Menu items together & simply grouped by Event
You can also use dividers or text boxes to create clear sections and improve the layout's readability.
Add a Menu Item Block to your Document
Scroll to Display Options
Check the Group Menu Items by Event box
Click Apply at the top-right side of the edit screen
Untick the option labeled "Items only use the Summary Components" to ensure totals are displayed.
Arrange the elements as needed to enhance readability and organization.
