We've renamed "Catering Revenue" to "Event Revenue" everywhere it appears in Event Temple. In the booking Revenue Summary, the row previously labeled "Catering" now reads "Events."
This is a labeling change only. The actual numbers and calculations are identical — nothing about how revenue is totaled has changed.
Why the name changed
"Catering Revenue" was misleading. This figure covers revenue from all line items on a booking — not just catering. It includes room rental, AV, food & beverage, and miscellaneous charges. Because "Catering" reads as food-and-drink only, the label undersold what the number actually represents. "Event Revenue" describes it accurately.
Where you'll see the new name
The Booking list and booking status-change columns.
The booking Revenue Summary panel (the "Catering" row now reads "Events").
Financial and lead exports (column titles and summary sections).
Report and export settings — for example, "Include Catering Revenue" is now "Include Event Revenue."
What is not changing
The numbers and calculations are exactly the same. This is a rename only.
Behind-the-scenes system identifiers are unchanged, so there is no impact to integrations, saved views, or existing data.
The separate Catering Pace Report and Catering Budgets keep their names — these are distinct features.
"Where did Catering Revenue go?"
It's the same number — just renamed to Event Revenue. If you're looking for the total revenue across all line items on a booking, that's exactly what Event Revenue shows.
