Event Temple does not have a dedicated conversion rate report, but you can use Booking List Reports and the calculation above to measure conversion performance.
How Is Conversion Rate Calculated?
Conversion rate is calculated by comparing the number of Definite Bookings against the total number of Inquiries.
Use the following formula:
Conversion Rate = (Definite Bookings ÷ Total Inquiries) × 100
Example:
If you have 100 inquiries and 25 definite bookings:
(25 ÷ 100) × 100 = 25% conversion rate
Reporting on Overall Booking Conversion
To calculate your overall conversion rate:
Step 1 — Find the Number of Inquiries
Open the Booking List Report.
Select your desired Inquiry Date range.
Select your preferred Group By option (for example, User to view conversion by salesperson).
Click Export As.
Select HTML.
Enable Include Summary.
Click Export and download the report.
The report will show the total number of bookings based on your selected grouping.
Step 2 — Find the Number of Definite Bookings
Return to the Booking List Report.
Keep your previous filters.
Add a Booking Status = Definite filter.
Export the report again.
Take note of the total number of Definite Bookings.
Step 3 — Calculate Your Conversion Rate
Use the conversion formula:
Conversion Rate = (Definite Bookings ÷ Total Inquiries) × 100
You can use this method to calculate overall conversion rates or compare performance by salesperson using the Group By User option.
Reporting on Intake Form Conversion
To see how many bookings came through Intake Forms and how many converted into Definite Bookings, you will need to run two Booking List Reports.
Step 1 — Find All Intake Form Bookings
Open the Booking List Report.
Apply any desired date filters.
Set Booking Origin = Intake Form.
Select all booking statuses:
Lead
Tentative
Definite
Lost
Click Export As.
Select HTML.
Enable Include Summary.
Export and download the report.
This report will show all bookings created through Intake Forms.
Step 2 — Find Definite Intake Form Bookings
Run the Booking List Report again.
Keep the same filters.
Change the Booking Status filter to only Definite.
Export the report.
Take note of the total number of Definite Intake Form Bookings.
Step 3 — Calculate Intake Form Conversion
Use the formula:
Conversion Rate = (Definite Intake Form Bookings ÷ Total Intake Form Bookings) × 100
Example:
If 150 bookings were created through an Intake Form and 40 became Definite:
(40 ÷ 150) × 100 = 26.6% conversion rate
