This guide covers how to add, edit, remove, and reposition elements inside a Proposal Template.
Where to Customize a Proposal Template
You can customize your template from:
Settings → Proposal Templates → Organization Proposal Templates → Select a Template
This opens the Proposal Template Editor.
Elements You Can Add to a Proposal Template
You can add four types of elements:
1. Content Element
A flexible text-and-image block used for most of your proposal content.
2. Events Timeline Element
Displays the event schedule (Meeting, Dinner, Reception, etc.) from the booking.
Turn the Toggle on to Hide Price.
3. Room Block Element
Shows guestroom blocks and rates associated with the booking.
Turn the Toggle on to Hide Price.
Choose to how Room Block by Total per Room Type or Occupancy Level
4. Charge Summary Element
Displays financial totals such as F&B Minimum or F&B Line Items.
Editing and Managing Elements
Edit an element:
Select Edit Element (pencil icon) on the block.
Remove an element:
Select Remove Element (trash icon).
Reorder elements:
Use the drag handle to move the element up or down.
Duplicate (via copy template):
To reuse a layout, you can copy the entire template from the Proposal Templates list.
Best Practices
Place Content Elements between system-generated elements for a clean, visual flow.
Use Event Timeline and Room Block elements only once per template.
Keep large image sections near the top for strong visual impact.
Add Charge Summary toward the end of the proposal for clarity.
Use separate Content Elements instead of one long block for easier editing and layout control.
