Objective
Learn how to create and edit Textbox Elements in your document templates to ensure clarity, consistency, and a professional layout.
1. Adding a Textbox Element
Drag and drop the Textbox Element from the Elements list into your preferred location in the document.
Alternatively, click the Textbox Element to automatically add it to the bottom of the template.
2. Editing Textbox Content
Double-click the textbox or select Edit to enter editing mode.
Type or paste your content directly into the textbox.
3. Adjusting Textbox Properties
Modify padding to control spacing around the textbox.
Enable Avoid Page Breaks to prevent long text from splitting across pages.
4. Formatting Text
Use the toolbar to customize text appearance:
Bold, Italic, <u>Underline</u>, or Strikethrough
Change font family and font weight (regular, bold, light)
Adjust text color or background highlight
5. Paragraph Formatting
Apply styles: Normal, Heading 1, Heading 2, or Heading 3
Use paragraph styles such as gray, bordered, spaced, or uppercase
Align text: Left, Center, Right, or Justified
6. Creating Lists
Insert ordered lists (1, 2, 3) or unordered lists (bullet points)
Customize list style (e.g., squares or circles)
7. Inserting and Editing Tables
Insert a table by selecting the number of rows and columns
Customize table settings:
Add headers
Change cell background color
Insert, merge, or split cells
Adjust cell alignment (vertical and horizontal)
8. Adding Links and Images
Highlight text and click Insert Link to add a hyperlink
Add images by dragging them into the textbox or linking to an online image URL
9. Additional Features
Insert horizontal lines to separate content
Use Undo and Redo to manage recent edits
10. Accessing Code View
For advanced customization, switch to Code View to edit the underlying HTML of the textbox.
