Workflow Task Steps don’t appear in your Task List immediately when you add them to a workflow.
They only show up once the Workflow Step’s scheduled date/time is reached — that’s when the system “runs” the step and actually creates the Task.
After the Workflow Step runs, the Task becomes a regular task, and you can:
Reassign it to another user,
Add notes or reminders,
Or make any other edits.
Tasks generated from workflows are marked with a special Workflow icon next to them, so you can easily identify where they came from.
