How Can I Pull a Report Showing Referral Sources for Bookings?

You can use the Booking List Report to view all Bookings along with their Referral Sources.

Step 1: Open the Booking List Report

  1. Go to Reports → Booking List.

  2. You can select an existing saved report like Referral Source or start from a Standard Booking List Report.


Step 2: Add the Referral Source Column

If your current view does not display the Referral Source:

  1. Click the Columns icon (☰).

  2. Check the box beside Referral Source.

  3. Click Apply to update the table.


Step 3: Group or Filter by Referral Source (Optional)

To organize or narrow down your data:

  • Click Group by → Referral Source to categorize bookings under each source.

  • Or, click + Add Filter → Referral Source to view only bookings matching a specific source (e.g., “Website” or “Repeat Business”).


Step 4: Refine with Additional Filters

You can apply extra filters to focus your analysis, such as:

  • Status → Tentative, Definite, Lost

  • Date Range → Booking Start / End Date


Step 5: Export Your Report

Once your filters and columns are set:

  1. Click Export → CSV to download the data.

  2. The export will include all visible columns, including Referral Source.


Example Use Cases

  • Identify which marketing channels generate the most revenue.

  • Review repeat or referred business over a given period.

  • Compare referral effectiveness across different market segments.


Optional: Save or Share the View

If you plan to review this report regularly:

  1. Click Save View → Save As New.

  2. Name it (for example, Referral Source Report).

  3. Choose Private or share with your Chain or Organization.
